Review: SUQQU Reset Cleansing Emulsion

Wednesday, July 29, 2015

Suqqu added a new formula to their Reset Cleansing series! This emulsion-like milky cleanser is called 'Cleansing Spa' - means it gives you a relaxing time like spa, at home. This Reset Cleansing Emulsion came out this month and it already has some good reviews on @cosme.net.

I prefer cleansing cream/milk because I have dry to combination skin and most cleansing oils make my skin dry out. I have been using Cle de Peau Beaute's cleansing cream for a while, I like how it removes my makeup gently, but I had always been looking for a makeup remover that could better suit my skin.

It comes in a clear plastic bottle with pump, containing 150ml of the product. It's hygienic and convenient.

This milky cleanser is very watery, it started to drip off quickly. The Suqqu BA told me to pump 3 to 4 times but it spreads well so 2 to 3 pumps is enough to remove my makeup. If your skin is drying, you might feel the cleanser get dry. Its beauty components will be absorbed into the dry skin so if it happened, add a small amount. Also the BA recommended to use it in the morning as well to dissolve impurities and excess sebum instead of a facial wash, and it's effective to massage with it once a week, like this.

I also like the scent.

Here's a test of how it melts away the makeup. (I used Laneige BB cushion, Elegance eyebrow powder and Tom Ford blush) I use Eye and Lip makeup remover for eye makeup so I didn't try them.

Soft, lightweight milk gently removed makeup.
I also tried this cleanser on my face at night, and it did the job quite well, removed all traces of makeup without any irritation. I can't say that it removes quickly like cleansing oils do, but I find it refreshing to massage my face slowly with the milk. It makes my skin soft and smooth, I like it.

The Suqqu Reset Cleansing Emulsion is suitable for all skin types. And unlike most cleansing oils and creams, you don't need to emulsify it. If you use a lot of waterproof makeups, maybe this product is not for you. If you're looking for a gentle cleanser that does not dry your skin up, I recommend to try.

I have it on my store so if you want to purchase please check out.
